Welcome to Joanna Winn Coaching Services (“the Service”). By accessing or using this website and the coaching services provided, you (“the Client”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully as they govern your use of the Service and outline your rights and responsibilities.

1. Services
1.1. The Service provides cancer coaching to support emotional well-being and personal growth. These services complement, but do not replace, standard medical care.
1.2. Coaching sessions are conducted in person, via Zoom, or by phone, as agreed upon. Each session typically lasts one hour unless otherwise specified.
1.3. The coaching services do not include medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Scope of Practice
2.1. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical care or advice. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
2.2. The coach does not act as a therapist, counselor, or licensed health professional. Referrals to other professionals may be suggested if needs extend beyond the scope of coaching.
2.3. Coaching is a supportive, judgment-free space designed to guide the Client in achieving their personal goals.

3. Confidentiality
3.1. Information shared during coaching sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except in the following circumstances:
• Legal obligations such as subpoenas or mandatory reporting.
• Situations where there is a clear and imminent danger to the Client or others.
3.2. Personal records are securely stored for five (5) years after services end and are then destroyed.
3.3. The Client may request that specific information be shared with third parties in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities
4.1. The Client acknowledges that their progress depends on their willingness to engage in and take action on agreed steps.
4.2. Any concerns regarding the coaching experience should be communicated promptly for resolution.

5. Commitment
5.1. Coaching is a collaborative process where success depends on the Client’s active participation. The Service cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
5.2. The Service is provided in a supportive and non-judgmental environment to help Clients achieve their goals.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Notice must be provided via [insert preferred contact method, e.g., email or phone].
6.2. Missed sessions without sufficient notice may be forfeited or charged in full.

7. Payments
7.1. Payments must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
7.2. For payment plans, instalments must be made on time. Failure to do so may result in paused services until payments are up-to-date.

8. Limitations of Liability
8.1. The Service is provided as-is and is not a replacement for medical treatment or advice.

8.3. Except in cases of gross negligence or malpractice, the Service is not liable for any claims or damages arising from the use of coaching services.

9. Privacy Policy
9.1. The Service complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant Australian privacy laws.
9.2. Personal information is collected for the purpose of delivering coaching services and is not shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By using the Service, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of [State/Territory].
11. Acknowledgement
By using this website and engaging in coaching services, you acknowledge that:
• Coaching services provided are not regulated by any Australian medical or licensing board.
• The coach is not a licensed medical practitioner or therapist and does not provide medical advice.
• Coaching is a complementary service designed to support your personal development and does not replace professional medical care.
